Well i kinda noticed that know one has brought it up yet, but while racing I saw a ton of General Tires on the side of the track and no bfgs anywhere, pretty much proves that bfg tires are the best!

point of this thread is? and i heard there was quite a few BFG flats.... before you go bashing general, theyre the reason the Mint goes off the way it did... and the reason some teams are racing

jajaja Not even close. The Yokohama trailer spent all day changing every manufactures tire. We had the only tire changer in the pits, says something about race support. The course was trashing every tire out there. So nobodies tires were superior in this race.

Everyone was really thankful that Troy from Yokohama was there to help. Oh yeah and Yokohama did it all for free. Have to love Yokohama's race support.

What race course were you on? I went for a lap in the 7200 truck one of the last guys to make it around before dark I seen a few bfgs 2 generals one that the wheel had just broken and tire was still aired up. I also seen lots of smaller car tires. What a lame thread to start are u bored?

Flat tires have more to do with the driver than the manufacturer.

It all depends on the driver, preference and the terrain, to me at least it does.

The best tire??? Why, it is the one you're sponsored with of course! Duh!

Dumb thread, no one is going to be able to bash a tire with out some guy who is sponsored by that group bashing back.

But I will say that I know of at least three different tire mfgrs who were getting bashed at the races by people who use and are sponsored/supported by them, but none of them will ever say anything in public.

We did two laps with no flats, the other driver/co-dawg had two flats. Sometimes luck (or lack of) plays a role in flat tires too!

ya i was bored, but also the first like 20 miles i saw a ton of General Tires everywhere it just seemed that bfg was a better tire at the Mint, we run bfgs and were running pretty hard and didnt have any pops, slit, or punctures.
