“The Richest Off-Road Race in Nevada”! Expanded Gauntlet Adds to Spectator Excitement!

Las Vegas, NV     April , 2009  Entries are piling up for the Best In The Desert Terrible’s Town 250 at Primm, as it follows the record breaking start of the 2009 season at the Bluewater Resort & Casino Parker 425.  This is “The Richest Off-Road Race In Nevada”  hosted by the Terrible’s Town Casino and it takes place in Primm, Nevada on the weekend of April 17th thru 19th. Considered the jewel of desert off-road racing, this race has something for everyone.
Expanded Primm Gauntlet  This year Casey Folks, director of the series, has expanded an exciting new spectator area with perfect viewing around the Primm Gauntlet.This area will be a wild ride for racers and a real treat for the spectators. The 250-mile racecourse  will finish right next to one of the most exciting casinos in the world, Buffalo Bill’s Hotel Casino.
The 250-mile racecourse will offer many new challenges. Once again, the Herbst Family is offering an additional  $10,000 guaranteed purse. For the 2009 race, there will be no pre-fun run due to a new directive from the department  of the U.S. Fish &Wildlife service. There will be three (3) pits for Cars, Trucks and UTV’s with easy access for support crews. Time Trials for Class 1400 and Class 1500 will be on Thursday, April 16th for the Team Ford Pole Award and
overall starting positions. The fastest vehicle in the time trials gets $1,000 cash from Team Ford owner Steve Olliges!

We are holding Friday open for an EXCITING event during the Terrible’s “250”, where we are promoting a TRICK KART race for the young racers Friday afternoon!  Don’t miss these up and coming off-road competitors, some as young as 5 years old. What Makes this the Richest Off-Road Race in Nevada?

TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS GUARANTEED PURSE! Yes, you read it right, $10,000! When was the last time you remember seeing an off-road desert race with a guaranteed purse to first overall?
