Since 2005 the Julian Classic Motoring Society has been putting on an annual car show which features a different type of vintage racing each year.  This years theme was a salute to the 45th running of the Baja 1000 and started on the streets of Julian followed by a parade to the Menghini winery where all of the cars were on display.  Sal Fish of SCORE International was at the event along with Roger Norman and this years Grand Marshal, Ivan “Ironman” Stewart.

Vintage desert race cars were on display as well as a few current race vehicles like Roger Norman and Vildosola’s Trophy Trucks.  There were also plenty of classic cars, vintage race cars and exotic sports cars on display.

Had a great time at the Offroad Motoring Show in Julian this weekend. We really enjoyed bringing our vintage prerunner and Steve Shepard was a welcoming host. Had some good wine, a craft brew made just for the occasion and heard some good lies, as you always expect to in an offroad crowd. Love the pics of our truck, especially as the ad for the show- thanks Racedezert.
We’re looking forward to next year.
