Dream scenario….. HOOT finally makes it to a BAJA race. While chugging Tecate’s and quickly forgetting about Kentucky as the trucks wizz by. The ultimate 4 wheel drive, a FSJ (My forever fav since 1976)comes hauling serious butt down the track at him. A stepside to boot making the blood pressure explode. In a roar from the 401/th400/Quad(totally cool) set up and a major dust cloud the truck disappears down track. HOOT craps his self.
I hope I get to see this truck race in the future, I’ll be wearing Depends just in case.

Yep, I too have a love of the Honcho step-sides. I’ve built several street/pre-runner versions of them, all based on the race trucks of the past. Long live the “Old-School” thunder trucks.
