While here in the US we keep building off-road race cars at the same pace as Walmart is selling China’s goods, what are they building in the land that invented the automobile?

Based on the Mercedes ML350, but highly modified towards going fast off-road is what the SAM09 GmbH is currently building. The SUV is in full compliance with the latest FIA rulings making it race legal with all international race promotors. Power comes from a 3.5 litre gas v6 engine producing no less than 300hp. Transmission is a Sadev 6 speed sequential. The dry weight around 3500 pounds it should move pretty fast over all terrain. Wheel travel is limited to 10inches all the way around in order to keep it within FIA class rules.
