Three time desert off-road racing champion “Ballistic” BJ Baldwin debuted his new Monster Energy sponsorship by unveiling his new black and white graphic trophy truck at the SCORE season opener, The Laughlin Desert Challenge in Laughlin, NV. The Las Vegas native has been racing off-road since his childhood and is well known as being one of the most talented and aggressive off-road racers on the planet. His off-road battles against top competitors have now become legend of the sport. Always the showman, BJ is a crowd favorite wherever he goes. His Trophy Truck, nicknamed “Fedor” in honor the most feared MMA fighter on the planet, Fedor Emelianenko. BJ has raced all over the planet and has won races in the U.S., Baja Mexico, and Eastern Europe.
“I’m super stoked to be apart of the Monster Energy off-road team! It’s a dream come true, and I promise to not disappoint the fans. I plan on showing you some full-contact, pedal to the floor off-road racing this year. I just want to share with the world how bad ass off-road racing is!” stated BJ.
BJ kicked off the new relationship in style by smoking Robby Gordon in a door-to-door race in a battle for trophy truck supremacy. Not only did BJ pull Gordon off the line, but he held him off for four laps proving that BJ’s time has arrived.
BJ will be campaigning his trophy truck in full seasons of both SCORE and Best in the Desert Series as well as the legendary General Tire Mint 400.
