Simi Valley, CA – January 20, 2012 – Citing team racing theories, consistency and a positive image, GenRight Off Road’s President Tony Pellegrino announces their sponsorship of Race Prep Racing for the 2012 Ultra4 Racing Season. “Having GenRight on board really validates our team’s efforts and accomplishments last year. GenRight represents talent, hard work and passion in business and racing. Having them sponsor us in 2012 is an honor,” driver Richie Carter said of the arrangement.
In addition to manufacturer and race team, GenRight Off Road is also the Official Suspension of the 2012 King of the Hammers, a title they have held for three years now. The company, located in Simi Valley, California, has been a pioneer in the off road aftermarket parts field, starting with their Crawler ™ Gas Tank several years ago. GenRight continues to revolutionize this market with innovative suspension design, steering options, and sleek body armor. GenRight consistently produces superior products so getting behind a consistent racing team like Race Prep Racing is a comfortable fit.
Richie drove his team to an 11th place finish overall last season out of 182 registered racers. Pretty good for privateers. This husband and wife team ran their rookie season in 2011 with one goal: finish. And it worked! Their goal in 2012 is to finish better, which sponsors like GenRight will help them accomplish. “I’m looking to be involved with solid performers. I like Richie’s consistency. I think that approach is a great foundation to build on as a racer. I think the experience we gained together racing KOH [together in 2010] was solid and now I can help Race Prep Racing with parts and vehicle prep. Having a teammate out there to pre-run and on race day is invaluable,” said Mr. Pellegrino when asked about the partnership.
Stay tuned for more updates on these teammates as they race this year. Both parties see this as a great opportunity to better last year’s results and they are looking forward to the 2012 race season. Richie, Kristen and Race Prep Racing will represent GenRight Off Road, along with their other sponsors, at the King of the Hammers, Glen Helen Grand Prix, Vegas to Reno, and The American RockSports Challenge.
