Renezeder Caps Historic Season with Win at Challenge Cup

Fort Mill, SC – (December 22, 2009) – Team General Tire’s Carl Renezeder capped off his unprecedented dual-championship season in short course racing with another win at the Rockstar Energy Drink Lucas Oil Challenge Cup December 19th at Lake Elsinore, CA.
Renezeder made short-course history this year by sweeping the Unlimited 2 and Unlimited 4 championships in the inaugural season of the Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series, and becoming the first ever seven-time national short course champion.
“Carl’s wins last weekend put the icing on the cake for an unbelievable season,” said Travis Roffler, director of marketing, General Tire. “Aside from his phenomenal driving skills, he’s proven that our General Grabber short-course competition tires are a tough tire to beat in short course racing.
