Announces team line up for the 09 Baja 1000

Ronnie Wilson not affiliated with (Wilson Racing from Long beach) will have his hands full with double duty at this year’s Baja 1000. Not only will Ronnie be racing the prestigious Trophy Truck Class he has put together an all-star group of Baja Veterans going for the class 21 championship! With budgets tight and sponsorships on the line Ron Wilson Racing recruited Shane Esposito the rider that gave Kawasaki its first podium finishes at last years 500/1000 in over ten years. And winning this years 500 class 21 till Score changed the playing field and adjusted the entire finishing order. That left Shane’s team without a shot at the class 21 title, Shane stating it only makes sense to join up with Wilson’s team which sits 5 points out of the championship title chase.
Wilson Racing/Powersports Performance will be riding the bullet proof Honda 450x with bike prep. and riding duties allocated to Brian Pinard, long time Baja racer and mult. class champion. Perennial class 30 championship O’Neal rider Steve (the sleeper) Garnett will bring speed and consistency to the team. Steve has been the go to rider that has helped Jim O’Neal win his many class 30 championships in Baja. With backing from Kenda tires look for the 102x bike at the front of the two wheeled classes
