SDHQ – Shop Tour

Race-Dezert.com was back on the road and in Arizona. While passing through Gilbert we had a chance to stop in Arizona’s largest offroad shop (SDHQ) and get a quick tour.

SDHQ is owned by Ryan Marselis who started the company in 1999. His goal was to open a shop that carried high-end, high quality products, and knew these products inside and out.

Just pulling up out front you can see they have a massive amount of vehicles on display from race trucks to every day drivers.

As soon as you walk in the door you walk into a full showroom packed with parts in stock. One of the biggest complaint heard in the offroad industry is when people have to order parts and wait for them. Everyone needs their parts yesterday so being able to come into a showroom that is fully stocked with high-end products is a must.

SDHQ is a lot more than just a showroom with parts, out back in the shop they have all kinds of projects going on. They range from full on race car builds to just installing a leveling kit on your F-150. One of their newest and fastest growing items is their Ford Raptor line of aftermarket products. Those range from fenders, bumpers, all the way to full cantilever rear suspension.

Check out this badass FJ that they are currently doing a full build on. Its even getting a full LS V-8 swap!

They have all the tools needed to create that perfect custom part or design you are looking for.

Just need some wheels mounted or tires balanced? Stop by because they can do that too.

All of their custom made long travel kits and bumpers are built in high quality jig to insure proper fit each and every time. These are all designed in house as well.

Need stickers made? Yep they have a plotter and plenty of vinyl in stock for whatever design you want.

We got a look inside Ryan’s office and its full of old movie posters, trophies, and of course the old video game Ivan Stewart’s Offroad.

A brand new addition is their 44 foot vendor trailer that is now traveling to most of the races this year. Serena and Dan200 will be working the trailer and have plenty of parts stocked for that last-minute when you’re at contingency and realized you left something at home.

Next time you’re in the Gilbert, AZ area make sure you stop by SDHQ and pickup whatever parts you might need. If you’re not in the area they offer a full shopping cart with all of their products on their website at http://www.superduty-hq.com

Thanks again SDHQ for letting Race-Dezert.com stop by and see the showroom and all of the projects going on out back in the shop. Be sure and check out the rest of the pictures below of all the other projects in the back along with more of the showroom!
