Corona, Ca. (February 16, 2010) – The Traxxas TORC Series presented by AMSOIL is proud to announce Brian Biering of Deviate Films as the official videographer for the upcoming 2010 race season. Deviate Films reached an exclusive agreement earlier this month to be the official videographer for The TORC Series. Brian will be shooting and producing jumbotron features, marketing videos and podcasts for TORC.
“I have been very impressed with Brian’s work in the off-road community,” mentioned Christine Lunniss of TORC. “I am confident that he will do a fantastic job with this year’s program.”
“As a filmmaker, I want to capture the sport from an angle that has not been portrayed before and capture new audiences. I want the fans, the spectators, and sponsors to see all aspects of short course racing- from the backyard builder to the unlimited budget racing teams, they all share one common interest…RACING. This sport is so different than any other out there and I believe strongly in the people that “ARE” TORC. They have worked so hard to turn this sport into the next BIG thing and I am honored to be a part of this experience in 2010 and beyond!!!” stated Brian.
Deviate Films is owned and operated in beautiful Orange County, California by Brian Biering. Brian is a self taught cinematographer and editor, he has excelled in his occupation and is working hard to help set the bar for motorsports films all over the world. A single father of 2, Kylee and Mackenzie, his occupation has become one that involves family and friends. Brian, a former class 7 racer, got his start in desert racing while participating in the 2005/2006 SCORE off road racing series. From there he has been involved with such teams as Letner Racing and Larry Jacinto Racing. His passion for filmmaking evolved while sitting on the side line at the end of the 2006 desert racing year. His camera and capturing the whole dynamic range of desert racing was his dream. With several successful DVD releases in 2007 through 2010 (ALL REV’D UP, DRIVE and DRIVE 2), Brian has worked hard to achieve the dream of making his hobby, his occupation.
