Welcome to the 40th Tecate SCORE Baja 1000 and race-dezert.com's real time feed of the official race communication presented by Camburg and IRC.

You the online visitor are now able to listen to actual race traffic as it happens!

We are positioned at no less then 4 locations alongside the racecourse to pick up the FM radio transmissions on 151.625Mhz (The Weatherman Channel) and relay it back to the internet for anyone to listen free of charge.

For this 1296 mile peninsula run from Ensenada to Cabo San Lucas we have received support from Camburg, IRC, Mastercraft, Racer Offroad, PCI, American Racing, Fox Shox and Turnkey Engines. These companies went out of their way to make it possible for us to bring this service free of charge to you the listener at home or work. All radios used for this project are PCI provided Icom F121 Units.

This time around we have picked a web-based media player that lets you select the source within. As the race develops alongside the 1296 miles you may want to go down the lists of radio sources in order to pick the most action. Weatherman will be in a plane above the racecourse and can be listened to as he travels further south. The observatory location will be staffed the first part of the race and should cover the first 300 miles of the race.

Once connected to the web-player click on +stream and select the location you want to listen from. Be patient while it tries to establish a connection. You will know you have a good feed if the timer starts to run on the display.
