Sorry to be slow with updates the car is almost ready to go out for sand blasting here is a pic i got emailed to me yesterday. I have all the Original body panels for it and it is in surprisingly good shape it looks like i dont really need to do much to it to keep it reliable!
I checked my panels when i got to my shop and sure enough the roof still says SAUNDERS on it and faded into the side panels in the rear you can see DOUGS automotive hesperia ca clearly! thank you for the lead!
From what i understand this is a 81 to 84 time frame but that is just from some one that has been in racing a while. I was told it is considered a second gen car but i dont know what it would be called.
Guys i have no history on this car i am hoping that some one might recognize it and help fill me in on it.
i know it has a fireworks 250 sticker from HDRA in 1988 on it and that is all i have so far.
i am slowly taking it apart and am going to try to find the serial number on it to try to help...
