We had a 2 1/2 min lead during lap 2. Don called and said we were set up for the overall and he didn't want to take that possibility from us. So we decided to stay in for the whole race. Not sure what happened but at about RM10 I felt something in my stomach start to let go. I puked up the water I had drank. I did pull my helmet up as far as I could. At least it was mostly water. I never get car sick so it must have just been the bouncing around and the heat. We were burning up by lap 5 and we were stoping for a splash of 5 gallons of fuel. We had them pour a bottle of water on us to cool off a bit. That helped a lot. My first race and my first win. Kind of sets the bar high from here on out. Sorry to hear Mark didn't race. Better he decided before he got way out there. You guys coming to the Powder Puff? We'll be running the Buckshot in 1300. Don's daughter is driving and Travis' wife and my wife are co-driving.
