    Is Class 3000 Dead ?

Had to go look it up. I was surprised to hear about the 118" change. The older 103"-105" 3000 buggies won't compete well with that. It seems like a 118" truck with the 300+hp turbo engine should be top dog in this class. Some class 10's out there may be short enough to be legal here as well...

    2017 F1 Predictions

Monster drive from Vettel! Good strategy from Ferrari for once. It looks like qualifying and starts will be a huge factor. Which car will be more reliable? Gutted by the double DNF for Haas.

    2017 F1 Predictions

Look at Grosjean qualifying up in 6th! Haas has done an amazing job over the winter. Car looks beautiful, aero seems good, and the Ferrari engine is game. Lets hope they have cured their brake issues from last year because Grosjean likes to use em. Bummed for Dan to have it get away from...

It doesn't appear to me that anyone has Kroc's speed but I am concerned about his ability to stay healthy. Should be exciting. How is El Hombre looking for this season?

New Class 6200 in Best in the Desert

I think they would be interested in winning in a melting pot class to prove they are the top dog. Right now there is interest and lobbying from 1 manufacturer. The rules are written directly for that one manufacturer. Is Ford keeping BITD alive somehow that I unaware of? I would rather see...

New Class 6200 in Best in the Desert

I would prefer to see a rule set that has more diversity and allows for more privateer involvement while leaving plenty of room for ALL manufacturers to come play. My fantasy class: Pump gas only, no additives No sealing of engines Must be production block, minimum of 1000 made or whatever Wet...

New Class 6200 in Best in the Desert

I like the idea but it seems like there should be a transmission limitation like 6100 has to deal with (no underdrive). Ie 5 speed max to clip off the top speed. Maybe a shock diameter limit so those older 1 cars don't need a 30k transaxle and an entirely new shock package to be competitive...

    is 6100 killing class 1?

You are right. I didn't draw it out. Regardless, it's an improvement to help close the gap. +~3" at 5 degrees increase in angle +~3.5" at 6 degrees increase in angle +~4" at 7 degrees increase in angle Sort out the boots (perhaps an RCV style spherical cap) then they can get the maximum out...

    is 6100 killing class 1?

What makes you doubt it? Armada says their 3 link 10 car is running non-plunge CV's. The boots will probably be another hurdle but you don't have to run them all the way to their limit either. Still get some more angle, lower operating temps, and more strength. Even if you only added 5 degrees...

    is 6100 killing class 1?

The rear suspension design of this car should facilitate the use of a non plunging CV and that is where the extra travel comes from. The 3-link design allows the track width to change as the suspension cycles so no plunge is required from the CV. I think most non plunging CV's get up to about...

    2016 F1 predictions

I would like to see Ricciardo get that seat. Lots of changes to come for next years cars though. The RB13 could be the hot ticket come 17. I hope it brings a swing of the pendulum. A little bored with the Merc dominance.

    Challenging TT Specs Rd 2

I was thinking from the same race prior year for 10 and TT spec. Non-finishers and new entries keep doing what they do now behind that pack. That seems like it would keep it more safe with most of the fastest guys at the front. I think it would create a great rivalry between the 2 classes as...

    Challenging TT Specs Rd 2

If qualifying isn't an option for SCORE, how about starting based on previous year's finishing order? This should help protect serious teams' investment in the competition. Getting caught behind new drivers in bottlenecks isn't a competition, it's a game of luck.
