    Class 5 only

Just over here having morning coffee, feet on my desk, looking at Class 5 entires for the MORE race in a few weeks with 21 entires. Feeling pretty good about ruining the class. (sorry, haven't stirred the pot in way too long)

Thanks Madison, and you're an awesome lady and you've certainly helped me out too. I'll still see ya around. ;)

Well, I've had some damn good times here playing "wheezy" my online alter ego. Those that know me, know I'm not really much like a lot of the fun "conversations" I've had here on RDC. I've enjoyed every minute on here from the first day I logged on. From building my first car, to crashing it...

Do you need a medivac Helicopter

When you need a copter, you don't give a rats ass. Been there, done that. My bill was right around $30K for mercy air to fly from Hodge road to Arrowhead Regional -the cost was dwarfed by the $300K from the hospital. I didn't have medical insurance at the time *I know, pretty damn stupid* it...

    Class 5 only

There arw some inherent problems with the arm off the back style, and they're just as much work as the traditional style. Latest Concepts arms are where it's at. One piece and can be magged and even teams like Precepts are getting literally thousands of miles out of a set. I think most of the...

    Class 5 only

You're mixing up parts I think. Lets all get on the same page "link pin shims" - the shims that go ON the link pins. They're sandwiched in place with the nuts ON the linkpins themselves. Typically between 4 and 6 per side per link pin. I'm assuming this is what GB is having problems with as they...

    Class 5 only

I have only ever purchased the Foddrill kit from KarTek - I do initial assembly "dry" until I know how many shims will be where. Then disassemble and reassemble and use a high pressure grease and grease each shim individually. Never had an issue. If you assemble and run them dry, they'll fail...

    Class 5 only

Against racing coalition races? Hardly. I just don't race in Barstow or Lucerne. I'd do RATR but I'm racing a 255 mile point to point desert race the weekend before and wrapping up a championship season at BITD, which has been my main goal since I started racing offroad a decade ago. Looking...

    BITD points?

Usually takes at least a few days after the race before they update them. But when they do, you can find them here: http://bitd.com/2015-class-points-summary/

    Ramsey's last post...

My favorite internet adversary. We clashed more than once but had some really cool private conversations. He was full of wisdom that money can't buy. I thank him for some of his insights. He will be greatly missed. Rest in peace brother. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

On Topic So, how was your "Tonopah Experience"?

Tonopah was rad. Washed the race car at the local car wash, bought some ice and snacks, fueled all our vehicles and topped off all our pump gas dump cans. Camped right in the overflow lot next to the "city" that the You Theory guys put up. HUGE THANKS TO THEM too by the way for their generosity...
