Class 12 /1100/ SCORE Lites ONLY Thread

Folks, Looking to go from skinnies up front to bigger tires. My understanding is that the following would need to be updated to accommodate this change: -Potentially re-gear transaxle for running biggers tires -Changing hub to something like King Kongs -Update Howe steering rack to 2.5/Fab to...

Class 12 /1100/ SCORE Lites ONLY Thread

We might be going to the MORE 500 (Texas to California trip) but since I have a water-cooled buggy, I believe I will be racing in a sportsman class. No worries...it will just be fun to meet everyone and learn from folks that have been racing these types of buggies. Hope we can make it out!

STORR El Paso TX. Off road race

Folks, This looks like a fun race. We will make an effort to try and race with STORR one day soon since we are based right outside of Austin. I don't think we will be able to make this race but maybe one in the near future...

    Pistol OK?

RIP Pete! Our condolences to his family. My first encounter with Pete was when I was a tech director for a Texas race organization and he brought his team to compete in one of our races. He brought his trophy truck and I believe one of his rentals to the Texas race. I headed over to confirm his...

    Mint 400 registration !! Interesting

For 1100 to race the Mint in 2019 (...and many others racing Saturday afternoon as pro) the entry fee is, I believe, $3250+$117.49 processing fee.

    Mint 400 registration !! Interesting

Folks, we are considering the 2019 Mint 400. I'm sure the 2019 cost to enter a limited vehicle (1100) is staring right in front of me but don't see it. Does anyone know the 2019 cost for limited vehicles like 1100? If not, can someone advise the 2018 cost? I would then assume probably something...

    V2R 2018

Perfect...thank you! At this point, if we race V2R, plan on hydrating well on the road trip up (Sunday) with electrolytes heavily up until that morning of the race. So...sounds like that should be good. Question about V2R: if staging is at 8:45 and truck/cars don't take off from the line until...

    V2R 2018

Any special tips on how to prepare for the extreme heat for this race? We are from Texas and pretty used to extreme heat but racing in the heat for that amount of time/miles will be different. We plan on hydrating about 4 to 5 days ahead and have plenty of cold fluids in the pits but anything...
