    Help identifying a wheel

I don't know why he started making them, but it was about the same time that class 1's started to grow in size. I'm not sure if one of the bigger teams contacted him, or a vendor like Kartek approached him to make a stronger / wider wheel to fit the 35's better on the wide 5 platform. I...

What happened to Acer at the MINT 400?

Stop making sense.... There are 200 people that want him to take the mask off to be more "accountable" or "professional"... There are millions that idolize it in Baja, and who know how many more across the globe. Leave it on, its just getting more people to talk about him ;) Now.... Lets...

LeadNav: What are your experiences? Any options similar for Android?

Yes, the XGPS160 is the puck you want. Mob-Armor sells a mount kit for the iPads and the XGPS to keep it all snug and dry.

where are the race cars now

The #7 is still owned by Scott, and is in storage at the moment last I remember The Silver Bullet (#10) HMS truck has switched hands a few times and I believe is currently owned by Rusty Stevens (#89). They changed the body on it, so it doesn't look like its former self.

LeadNav: What are your experiences? Any options similar for Android?

Range rings are already in LeadNav, and have been for some time. Yes, changing color for each "trail" like we have been doing for years on Lowrance was something I bugged them about. It would be nice to know and separate each time I prerun a section, which line we took if we liked one better...

LeadNav: What are your experiences? Any options similar for Android?

I have been using LeadNav for a year and a half? now. Both Iphone and Ipad. I started with it on the bars of my dirtbike while prerunning, then transitioned to the Ipad (Air 2) in the race truck(s). The trucks are utilizing a MobArmor mount and a Dual Electronics GPS puck for 10mhz updates...

    2017 FORD Raptor

My 2012 fuel mileage average was 14 Highway trips were as good as 17.5 to Phoenix and back. Always rolled on the gas easy from mile 7 on the odometer till I sold it at 35,000. Kept it on cruise control around 72 and rocked out.

New Class 6200 in Best in the Desert

I think most are forgetting that the 6200 cars will be utilizing a converter 80-90% of the time, thus saving the rest of the drive train. The last I was remotely involved in a team that had a 1 (Built LS7) and 10 car (ecotec), the 10 car was seeing way higher trans bills and more service...

New Class 6200 in Best in the Desert

This car is 90% 6200 already and is still a decently fast 1 car against current cars. Pretty sure it has an H-pattern Fortin in it as well if my memory serves me right. Still every bit of a $175,000 build brand new I'm sure, as it is still a 1 car with an LS3.

    No more Parker BWDC?

Jesse (scootin newton) was being sarcastic. He is a Parker local and probably knows more than most on the situation

Honda Ridgeline Conquers the 2016 Baja 1000

Yes it was. We had just made it up the big silt hill that Potts was stuck on. I had to pump up my driver a bit for a line well executed

    Interesting Finish at Blue Water

That was a delicate dance between two drivers who know how to get down. Voss and Letner could have done that same tango without issue and the same outcome. Your average TT driver wouldn't have forced the issue like Voss, and your average class 1 car would probably have given up easier leading...

    Ramsey's last post...

That was the same story I got about 10 months ago. Said he ran an old hood so he didn't feel as bad letting it fly away I think.

    Interesting Finish at Blue Water

I agree, a TT and a 3000 car have no business playing tag on a short course, or multiple lap 100 mile loop race Baja 1000, if your TT, or class 1 tags a "limited" class car that effectively finishes 10+ hours behind the overall leader with a perfect race? should be grounds for a year ban from...

    Interesting Finish at Blue Water

See @Jorge Rodriguez comment Deano, What is reckless is TT guys saying that for our safety (class 1's) that WE need to be off of their ball field while they play. I am all for safety, but give the people a reason that the TT guys feel that it is unsafe for the unlimited cars to play...

    Interesting Finish at Blue Water

Not arguing that fact at all. I'm just arguing the fact of what you're considering grounds for safety. I have heard reasons due to weight come up quite a bit. And the rebuttal to that is the fact that most of the big name 1 cars are now 2", the same as your TT. A TT that is under control...

    Interesting Finish at Blue Water

I know it was a kook statement, just like the kook fact that many of the TT's think that they are untouchable and everyone should bow down. At the end of the day, I treat 9 car guys who paid to race the same as I would a TT guy on course. Your life is not worth a trophy. Race accordingly Kook...
