Just testing the water here. Has anyone tried ORI's STX strut for shortcourse? I know the ST model was more for rock crawling and did not do well in the desert. The STX model is more advanced with several internal improvements for go-fast desert. Anyone tried them?

How do you protect your shocks from a total meltdown over long distance desert? Is it in the shock design? How you mount them? What's the best setup?
