The rear axle from a toyota FZJ80 (not Fj80) is a full floater. It would be a great place to start if you want to keep mr T axles. Of the available ratios 4.88:1 is pretty much spot on for 35-37" tires. I am going to truss my front and rear. The front will have the birfield ball braces.

I think the scale mock up of things will really help me get it designed right when it is time to make the real full size version. I will likely make a scale version of the chassis, rear cantilever and front 3 link with panhard (Radius arms going bye bye).

I might check out worthington racing in palmdale. They run a Dodge Cummins that has a solid front axle. So does my 80 series landcruiser.. Might be a good shop to talk to.

DSRacing thanks. I think the third photo has bell cranks that are the closest to what I need based upon the direction of the shock motion in relation to the axle.
