I started racing dirt bikes in the desert at 9. So what is different then than it is now. I know lots of people that raced and I dont a problem. Kids today arent like the kids of older generations.

I would rather have a kick starter any day of the week. Electric starters a for wimps!! I have started many bikes and I like kicking them over. If you cant kick it you shouldnt ride. Thats the way I was raised.

Pure and simple. the rider/ bike was on the course with a dead bike and had trucks coming fast. Its called common sense get yourself and bike off the course! Its that simple.

I say the guy didnt use common sense. He should dragged his bike off the course and waited til it was clear. I dont blame anyone but you need to use common sense when you are doing that kind of racing. they have a roll cage. Bikes and quads dont so you need to get out of their way.

You should be aware of whats around you. I raced a quad in the nevada 500 with the buggies and trucks. You need to listen for them and if you hear them coming look to get out of the way. Its using common sense and not being stupid.
