Another One for the Shock Tune Wizards!

You said 1/2 of travel, not 1/2" in the previous post. Close a bleed hole and see what it does.

Another One for the Shock Tune Wizards!

1/2 of the travel under bump stop seems overkill, doesn't it ? Does the piston has free bleed holes in it ?

    On Topic Air locker function

No idea what's the D90 swap, but the ARB lockers being engaged and the compressor being on are 2 different things. As long as your solenoids are not powered, the lockers are off. And off course they are fine to run without air, that's how they unlock.

That's absolutely a tuning tool. You can also remove the springs all together on certain applications.

    Making drive over fenders.

Given how hard to find and overpriced trailers are these days, widen it. Or do like I do and let 1/2 the tires hang out, it doesn't matter. Been driving that way for a few years without any issues.

    Older Sway-A-Way parts

I finally was able to talk to someone at AFE. They have the wearband and just sold a few to me. Took a long time to get to someone but they were very nice and shipped them promptly. If someone ends up later on this thread for the same reason, the part# is 52036-001. Cost is $5.00ea. @MCM...

    Older Sway-A-Way parts

That's a good idea, but too complex for what I'm doing. I also have some Fox 2.0s on the bench and the wearbands aren't remotely close to the SAW ones unfortunately. I really wish I understood more about piston design. What is the reason the SAW are know for their hard ride ?

They don't sell them. I got my seals from them.

    Older Sway-A-Way parts

Hi, I'm looking for a pair of wearbands for some older 2.0 sway a way coilovers. AFEPower sells them as part of their $200+ master rebuild kits. https://afepower.com/afe-control-sway-a-way-2-0-shock-master-rebuild-kit-7-8-shaft I just need 2 piston wearbands not the whole deal. It's...

What's the word? Linked frame trucks are dead?

Not sure a Tacoma is the ideal platform to race in 4600. Look into the other cars that are competitive. Discussion on another forum (hope I'm allowed to post this link) https://irate4x4.com/threads/best-stock-class-4600-4500-base.257132/

Can you be more specific ? I don't think the OP is a high end race team that needs the end of it all solution.

    Making drive over fenders.

First time it's raining outside you're super glad to have an enclosed. I keep my car hauler for day trips and love the enclosed for anything that involves spending a night "camping". Also is much better to bring tools/spares and leaving them safely locked up inside.
