04 Dodge Ram 2wd long travel

Looking for long travel leafs for rear. No one seems to make them. I have full long travel front end. No coils, bypasses or hoops done yet. Will post pics for others looking for this setup, as they are super

hard to find. Want to do “back half” eventually, but can’t afford it for awhile. Need something for rear to get me by.

Chevy or Ford full size leaves could be adapted easily. Might require new hangers and shackles but could be done in a weekend if all parts are on hand. Measure your current springs. I'd bet that they are the same to a Chevy or forx.

I’m ok with adapting anything at this point. Was blown away the deaver doesn’t make any 3rd gen Dodge stuff. Then I realized, no one does. Lol

Springs are dumb. They don't know what vehicle they are on. As long as the spring rate is correct for the load they should work.

Dodges have always been kind of the red headed step child of the automotive world. They require a little more thought than Chevy or ford.

just do some spring under deavers for a bronco or fullsize and set it up a tension shackle. throw a 16" on there and be done.

Be careful with this recommendation because Bronco springs are 3" vs most others being 2.5". Are the oem springs under the frame, or beside it?

eh hes going to have to change stuff anyways. better off just buying off the shelf aftermarket ford crap and figuring out how to adapt it to the dodge frame.
i mean hangers/shackls everything. nothing "bolt on" dodge is going to work as well as a ford setup at the end of the day. same for chevy.

I have been researching this my self for my truck and did some cross-referencing with the stock 1500 rear leaf is 2.5" x 63.25" long and a 3/1 pack.
according to what I have found the Deaver chevy #G7 or #F87 are both 63" x 2.5" in dimension and I would assume work. These are both rated for a 4" lift but I have no idea how much they would lift the Ram.

Also DM you about your control arm kit..
