1-2-1600\'s

Anyone who runs one, how much did it cost you to build it? I figure I could take the radio, tires, fuel cell, parker pumper, beards, pedals, etc. off of my 9. Mainly what I am wondering about is the cost of the full front and rear suspension setup (arms, beam, axles, stubs, shocks, spindles cv's, etc. and brakes too). Is Kartek the place to get everything or what other places are good for top of the line 1600 parts? Why not 934's instead of 930's? Cost? And do you run 2.0's in the front or 2.5's and could you run bypass or would the stock length beam and arms make that impossible?

Re: 1-2-1600\'s

Kartek is a great place to start, everyone in 1600 runs 930s because less weight and cost. Some guys are running 2.5s in the front. the beauty of the class is if you car is working it's a drivers class and you don't have to have the newest trickest stuff. This year in snore a 19 year old bunderson 1600 car won at the dusty times 250 race.
