Dave, I received the packet. Thank you very much for taking the time to copy them and mail them. By chance do you have the 1969 Baja 500 entry list?

Thanks
Steve

The entry I was looking for in the 1969 Baja 1000 was Mike Griswold. Guess what his car is in the pictures that I have.

# 123 , and of course the entry form has that one blank. Is there a list of finishing positions that would have all the cars that finished?

Hi There,
Does anyone have the race results for the 1969 Mexican 1000? Bryan Racing kindly sent me the entry list, but I would also like the race results. Also, are there any sites that show original photos of the cars entered? I am also looking for entry lists of the Mint 400 '68. '69', 70'. 71'. Also photos. Thanks so much to everyone.

Hello I am looking for a 1968 Baja entry list because I own one of the two Husqvarna 250 8 speed motorcycles that raced that year. I would love to know who raced it . Thank you for all your help...

Who rode a Husqvarna 250 in 1968 baja 1000. It was 2 men who entered... I think... And 2 on 360's
According to the program the following 250 Husky's entered were,Lars Larson,Gary Conrad # 5 and Steve Holladay,James Martino#62.As for 360's,J.N.Roberts,Ake Johnson#199 are the only 360's listed.There is a 420,John Coots,Dick Dean#10.

How do you know the bike was ridden in the 68 race?

if you're a Husky guy, you may find there letters interesting. I have some original letters and telegrams from Edison Dye regarding the Baja 1000, The Mint and some other race related subjects. None from 68 though.

Those are interesting...... Im more interested in the 1968 Baja because after talking to Steve Holladay (the rider still alive that raced the husky 250 8 speed to a 250 class win in the 1968 Baja 1000) and getting the forms and letters from Edison Dye that state that my 68 250 8speed ran in the 68 Baja 1000 and had the engine returned after the race to Sweden for inspection. Steve did the set up and break down and return of my bike .... I am acquiring as much as i can from the 68 Baja Husqvarna 250 8 speed.......

That's pretty cool, documenting the bikes the early Baja races is difficult as the bikes weren't unique and not photographed as much as the cars. I have a 69 360 8sp I'm going to start restoring soon.

Do you know Tom White? He 's pretty knowledgeable on the race history of the early Huskys.

I have both the 68 and 69 entry lists, but cannot find the following car on the sheets. It's noted as #253 on the door, but both entry lists denote a VW with that number. Anyone familiar with this Plymouth?

Here's the "Four Wheeler" magazine article on the '68 1000. There's a list of winners in it. I hope it helps somebody.

Hey there,
Looking for 1970 Baja 500 250 class winner information, registration or photos. Also Stardust 7-11 1968 250
Class winner, information, registration or pics and Mint 400 1968 250 class with the same information as above. I believe the winner of these races was John Kenyon. One might be listed as Steve Kenyon which was a error. Anything anyone may have would be greatly appreciated. John Kenyon is my uncle and would love to have this.

kindly, Rhonda
