Where you at the 1974 Bonnie and Clyde 350 in 1974? I am in need of anyone who remembers that event to reminisce a little about it. In particular I am researching the 4x4 class, but anything about the event, the weather, the course, what you saw, would be helpful. Time is somewhat of the essence, I have a deadline, so type fast please.
Photo simply for effect, I cannot find any photos from the event. (1970 Mint 400 photo by Petersen Archives)

A few more nuggets ... I may have more stuff at home -- I'll look later tonight and pass along what I have.

Looks like classes 3, 4 and 8 were combined into one classification -- D. That was a common practice in the '70s when there were only a handful of entrants in each of the heavy metal classes.

There's some pretty great footage here -- John Baker, the Galpin Ford Bronco, Big Hoss with Bill Rush at the wheel, Ken Snyder and Boss Hoss and P.J. in Big Oly carrying the U.S. Mags paint job.
