That's awesome! Super clean car you have there. My Uncle had a Super Champ that I lusted over. I scrimped and saved my pennies, but the best I could afford was a Hornet.

I still have an original Blackfoot kicking around that I keep considering for a restoration project. Your car gave me some inspiration.

ETA. I really like the way you included pics of the Chenowth on the link above. A nice touch!

my dad has a super champ from back in the day, ill have to see if its in the rafters still at my parents house.. a few years ago i got it running but its in pretty bad shape. ill see if i can find it and ill post pics

The Super Champ is dope.

I have a Tamiya King Cab...but the chassis cracked. I hope Tamiya does some more re-releases.

What No Sand Scorchers???
The sand scorcher was the coolest r/c back in the day- realistic 5 open body on a Super Champ chassis, and sand blaster 915 tires. This car is what got me into the endless pit of r/c racing......
