A great race from a great time in desert racing history. Unfortunately, this video appears to be another Nissan sponsored production, so no shots of the Ironman's 'yota. Still some great video though. I saw a little bit of Off Road magazine's Project Stone Stock Isuzu.. If i'm not mistaken,i believe that's the truck that started class 7s. Perhaps someone could give a definitive answer on that..But anywayz, things were looking a little stale around here, so thought i'd post this golden oldie..You're sure to get a chuckle out of this one,too..Who knew desert racing had a theme song?...Enjoy y'all.

I won class 11 that race, when they are talking about jack johnson 6 miles from the finish my 11 goes by at night. You can tell by the yellow light on top about 19.06

Yes, the same. Mike told me the light was sourced from the aviation industry.
Interestingly, the two race vehicles that I spent the most time with both had blue roof lights. The first was the Chicago Patrol rocket car, driven be Fred Goeski, and the second was the Conejo Off Road Racing class 3 Jeep.
