I am building a ametuer level prerunner out of my 1998 Ford F-150 and I have and idea for the front suspension and I want to know if its a bad idea.

so my idea is to buy some heavier torsion bars and new uni-ball upper control arms and then to use some Kings 2.5 remote reservoir rear shock to replace the front shocks (obviously making some custom mounts for those shocks).

Is this a bad idea, will it not work? If it does work what torsion bars should I buy and how much travel can the shocks have before maxing out the stock set up. One last thing I want know if it works is how well would it work?

If this doesn't I would like to hear some input on how you or someone you know has made a custom setup.

Thanks,
Brian
