Anyone have info on the attached photo taken at this years Sema show? Prerunner? Race truck? Front arms look pretty mean. Also, are those King reservoirs hidden behind the grille?

Clifford, Maurice from Off Road Unlimited owns and built the "Suburban" for himself. He told me he was going to run a couple races just for fun and use it primarily as a prerunner. It's also 4WD. He did a very nice job on the thing. The welds are sweet. If you get a chance, check it out.

I saw it on Friday at the Sema show. It is definitely up there with some of the nicest prerunners I have seen. It was hard to tell if it was a prerunner or if they were going to race it because there is no glass in it at all and looked like it was built to race possibly. But Rory just answered that question.

Here's the only other photo available to be borrowed from our friends at Off-Road.com. Enjoy!

the off road magazine sport trac is pretty sweet, too. i got to see it in the build up stages...baja shop front suspension with king coil overs, i think 5 inches wider per side, leaves in the back with king bypasses, and a big wide 9 inch in the rear. it's black, with patriotic red/white/blue stars and stripes graphics, 35 inch bfg muds, and app wheels, chromed, not yellow....hanneman built fiberglass just for it, fenders, hood, and bedsides, that looked absolutely awesome. makes me kinda want one, and i never did before....

Street legal trophy trucks with no windshields. Who would have thought? Is it street legal, because I thought you had to have a front window to get it registered.

Talk about a KILLER family wagon!!! If it's street legal I doubt it's California. If it is in Cal. I'd like to know how they got it registered and smogged!!

Mike, The rear quarter panels are original. I'm pretty sure the doors are also. As far as I know, the hood and front fenders are the only pieces of fiberglass. I crawled all over that truck last Friday, very nice.

Thanks Rory! It looked like they were steel skins. Does anybody know if you can buy just the door skins from anyplace? As a replacement part or something.. Anybody have a guestimate on price for the front glass?

Rory - nice design on the Desrt Clean shirts this year!!

Best thing about Suburban TT's are you have 7 co-pilots, and you never have to get out of the truck to change a flat !!!!!!! Hell Yeah !!!!!
