I have a 2003 chevy silverado 1500 2wd LS extended cab 4.6. I want to rip the front bumper off and attach an NFAB bumper with light bar, a fiberx 1 piece top, have fiberglass rear sides. Run dual tire mount in the bed to add weight for the winter. Since it is 2wd is it worth getting a locker or what to help if I get stuck and just turn off when I use it on the roads, I know traction while turning is iffy if they lock up but are there ones you can turn on when you want then back off? Can a suspension kit (basically something on 4wheelonline) do a majority of the stuff a mid travel kit can do (obviously not everything but I don't want it to break) or should i save another 1500ish for the mid or long travel. Is it also worth to get the bolt in bed cage right away or can I pick that up a bit later? Any idea on tire size/wheel size too?
