I am considering driving down from northern cal. We are going class 11 racing and need helmets, fire suits, possibly GPS and intercom, fuel dump cans and who knows what else.

Is it worth the 10 to 12 hour drive for me? I am two hours northwest of Sacramento.

I think its worth it. I drive 8 hrs from Tucson, and make a weekend out of it. Bring an RV, and camp INSIDE on Saturday night = early bird deals.

People are trying to buy stuff as you are parked waiting to unload on Saturday, then are reselling it on Sunday, Saturday evening is full of people from out of state or Mexico
Everything sells early, pretty much done by noon

Pretty much count on being up the entire night/morning before.

Also, don't start getting hammered at 6 when you get there, so your sick at midnight when the real deals start up.
I have this "friend" that did that last year...

We bring scratch & dent, used and discontinued items out there to blow out.

We've also been known to make some pretty awesome deals on new stuff. :)

The PCI trailer usually gets loaded halfway to the ceiling with "stuff"
