Major dramas on the terrain, much more than what the daily summary show. This was a real Dakar Stage like we love, hopefully more to come for the remaining days so that the unlucky ones today can climb back the ladder and show what 'Dakar' determination and resilience is all about.
We had a very close RDCers competition too...very close indeed with Short Bus and Pharaoh XJ nearly taking the prize...if only...Terranova had not rolled his car 4 times a few kms from the end.
I hear some potential stage neutralisation, so let's see in a few hours what Dakar.com tell us, we may very well have our first Dream Racer winner.
Onto Stage 3 now, short and stony, not the place to make a big come back, rather a slow crawl back for the crowd favorites...
