Letner for the overall just saying. OK just a serious question. With only 2 entries in 2400 and Ford pays dollars with more entries. Why do you think Casey does not allow the engine used in 2400 in class 10 and get the Ford money in class 10.

Looking forward to it.... Love racing early, then heading up Shea Rd to watch the fast stuff in the afternoon!

We are all setup for qualifying timing results.... just waiting for race cars to show up.

Weather in parker is blue sky, very light breath. Shorts and t-shirt weather.

The orientation lap has started.

After the group pressrun each competitor gets one go for fastest time to determine starting position on Saturday.

Qualifying is open to Class 1400 (Trick Truck) and 1500 (Class 1).
Qualifying is 3.0 miles long.

Interesting...when I saw the qual loop I thought "the buggies are gonna love this".

We checked (pussed out) for the bump turn first right and cost ourselves a bit of time. Looks like we are 9th about 1.83 out of 3rd so that's a small blanket over a pretty large group or like 7 trucks. I think 3rd is running what our normal motor is so we know that sheet is quick.

We are here doing some testing but will race for the podium as well. Most people don't know but I love the old truck, aka "Cougar", and the way she handles. She does have a carburetor and a slightly smaller power plant but that should not be an issue for the race. Yes. sometimes the first Geiser baby doll is the #16 (her serial number is 001 from G Bros.). She bad

If you are asking what we are testing....more miles on the 40" BFG before the 1000, we tested some qualifying theories and we have a couple other off the grid things we are working on.

Have fun everyone and enjoy. For the record I think the TT's running with the smaller cars is a bummer deal but we are here and will work hard to be safe, we hope everyone else does the same.

I vote for a Friday night TT race to kick off the weekend, elimination style. 30 start lap one...25 fastest start lap two...15 fastest start lap 3... 5 fastest land rush start for the win on lap 4....ha ha

Be safe all

270 total entries announced at the driver's meeting... is this a new "can't miss" event?
