2016 LOORRS Schedule and Locations will drop this Friday October 16th - Keep an eye out on Social Media and here on RDC.

Lets hear some predictions and thoughts on the Challenge Cup- Final Round and 2016 - Keep it positive

- Can anyone stop Kyle Leduc

- Will Bryce Menzies all new Huseman built Pro4 make a difference?

- RJ Anderson has 12 points on Jerett Brooks in Prolite - Will RJ or Jerrett take it?

- Who will shine in Prolite for 2016?

- Pro buggy -Garrett George has a 25 point lead on cousin and 2014 champion Chad George. Can anyone stop these two in 2016?

No Kyle is pretty much unstoppable right now

Bryce's new pro-4 looks to be awesome but still to early to tell

I'll say Rj pulls it off to win this year but Jerett will be the man to beat next year

George boys will be the the dominant force next year too

The closest Points battle is in Mod Kart! 3 points separate Polvoorde & Pecoy with 1 race left. Going to come down to the last lap between these two!

YES! ModKarts are one of my favorite classes to watch. I've been honored to see both of your boys grow to the racers they are today. They are both rising stars of off road! Thanks for the support!

Corona, California (October 16, 2015) - With just one race weekend remaining in the 2015 season for the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series, presented by GEICO, speculation has been building as to the makeup of the upcoming 2016 season. Today, Lucas Oil Off Road is proud to announce its 2016 schedule, and it’s one that’s sure to be a hit with teams and fans alike.

Taking a page from years past, the series will get underway with a visit to Chandler, AZ in mid-March, where drivers will tackle the wide corners and the unique, multi-line section of Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park. Five weeks later, the series will then turn west and head for the high-flying thrills of Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park in southern California. After that, May will see the series return to the splash hit of 2015, our south of the border visit to Estero Beach in Ensenada, Baja California, México.

After another four-week break, the series will then make its way back to the beautiful confines of Tooele Motorsports Park, just outside Salt Lake City, UT, before returning to one of the true homes of short course off-road, Glen Helen Motorsports Park, for the season’s first night race in late July. August will see the series make another trek north, this time to the big elevation changes and ultra high speeds of Wild West Motorsports Park in Sparks, NV, with the series then making a second stop at Lake Elsinore in September for the season’s final night race event. The series will then complete an Arizona bookending, with Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park again hosting the final regular season race of the year, as well as the ultra-popular Lucas Oil Challenge Cup, in late October.

“We are honored to be able to release the 2016 Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series Schedule,” said Series Director Ritchie Lewis. “We look forward to kicking things off at Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park, as we tackle 15 rounds of scheduled points events, before bringing things full circle and ending up back at Wild Horse Pass again to complete the 2016 tour with the Lucas Oil Challenge Cup. We will also continue with the international fan favorite Baja International Short Course, which will move to a new, springtime date in May of 2016.”

“There were many inquiries about new venues for 2016 and beyond,” Lewis added. “We are looking at some possibilities for 2017, however our focus in the upcoming off season is to begin a busy winter of work on our existing tracks.”

With Lake Elsinore’s 2015 season finale right on the horizon, the off season lies just beyond, during which the drivers, crews, and fans alike will all be anxiously counting the days until the start of the 2016 season. Before we know it, the 2016 championship will be upon us, and with lots to look forward to, 2016 promises to be a great year for the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series.

Agree completely! Two great kids that have had some awesome battles this year.

Hope to see Myles Cheek back one day!

Not sure where he got his talent from but he can drive!

Thats weird, right? ANd now weve got 2 races in Chandler AZ (which is cool for me) but its strange to see Vegas missing from the schedule...

was it replaced by the Mexico race?
