call me stupid but i dont understand why they're teaming up, is it a corporate decision or just two dudes wanting to team up
It is hard to be competitive and solo the 1000, so a second driver is helpful. They both want a competitive driver as a partner, so it is a good match there. Their sponsors match up for the majority. They now have double the resources (pit guys, chase trucks, general equipment, logistic planning, helicopters). Not to mention two mason AWDS for spares if they run the Mason. If they were to pick just another fast driver they may not have the resources those two have available. I am stoked to see them give it another go.

What's the best place to watch the race on the Pacific side with the most action? Preferably on the ocean. Thx

It was rebuilt in the last year or so

Can you give us the points at Hwy 1 & Hwy 3..KM markings, highway icons (gas station, signs, etc), etc?

If it's graded, then it's no problem with basic 2WD trucks..no 4WD required? Or, are there some climbs, switchbacks, etc.

Back at last year's 2019 NORRA, I took some off-routes on way back to border When I was going from San Evaristo (WAY north of La Paz on Sea of Cortez) cross-over back to Hwy 1, there were *steep* grades with rough areas -- I needed 4WD. Otherwise, the 2WD led to slipping rear wheels.
