Wow. Luke beat Andy by one second corrected before penalties. That's close in a short course race. That's close in a dirt track circle race, NASCAR, Indy. Incredible.

Unfortunate that the footage is so horrible. Took them 15 minutes to tell us the split was that close. But what a race.

Rob Mac is periodically live here:
I know it breaks up a little, but can you imagine if SCORE had these cameras on all the top TT's. It would have been the most amazing coverage ever.

I had to leave the computer awhile ago but the chances I’ve had to watch the live video and Fish’s recent update makes it sound like there is no winner yet. Both Luke and Andy didn’t sound super stoked yet. What’s a crazy race LOL.

You think that incident coming out of the pits will get Andy a penalty?
I hope not. That was an amazing pit and proved what the modern day TT fast pits mean in a race like this. 15 years ago, the time in the pits had very little to do with who won the race. But in the end I am commenting from one persons video, wasn't there to see it live. but go andy go!!!!

That 2nd video clearly shows Ampudia coming in way too hot to make the corner. If there is any fault, look at SCORE for not controlling the speeds where a pit zone reenters the course. Ampudia was hauling the mail along that long left bender. At least he crashed AFTER the crowd, and not INTO it. SCORE dodged a bullet there IMO.
No, no, no. No more speed zones.

So, Fish reports that Luke pipped Andy by 4 seconds in time BUT he is currently on the hook for a speeding penalty, and Luke's team is trying to prove that the penalty should not exist. But, per Fish, Andy stands to be the winner at the moment. (Speaking of speed zones, natch)

Who knows who won. But here’s a couple cool shots by @havahockey of Luke and Andy. Apparently Andy won but we’ll see.....
