I'm going to be fabing up a couple of 9" housings one front and one rear using 4" X 1/4" wall tubing and I was wondering if anybody makes inner axle seals for that size of tubing. I've looked at the SEALSIT stuff and I like the design but they didn't look like they have that size of tube available, plus they're super pricey . Any help would be great!

They are simply rings that hold whatever axle seals you are going to use, so make them yourself, they are very simple to build.

And don't get flustered about the O-rings around the outside of those others that are used to seal the tubes, you can glue them in with sealant, weld them in or even JB weld them in.

Thanks for the advice Tim, I guess I got so caught up in trying to find some that fit the tubes that I looked past the fact that they would be super simple to build. I'm off to the lathe!

And please post up pics of what you did. That'll make it crystal clear for anyone else wondering.
