I got a 90 toyota made for a V6 last weekend and will be putting a turbo 4 cylinder 22r-tec in it either this weekend or over Thankgiving weekend. However the motor mounts on my friends 87 are about 2 inches closer to the front of the truck, so its looking like I'll be moving motor mounts. However my friend who works at a junk yard was sayin that toyota may have moved the motor mounts when they switched body styles. Does anyone know if this is true or the V6 motor mounts are in fact placed differently than the 4 cyl ones, which would make sense. Before I do any cutting though I'll be sure to check out a new body style toy for proper placement, but just wanted to see if anyone already knew the answer.
