im going to go home right now and hook up my lower links. i have my rear axel centered up perfect with my truck and the wheel base is right. the question i have is that the axel is low on the ground like 8 inches. and my truck is on jacks. do i need to put it at ride hight or can i hook it all up the way it is

no need to get fancy I set my link tabs up on the axle while its on the bench... but you need to be able to measure and mark well ;) if you have any doubts better to set it up under the truck and use the links to hold the tabs in place... the only thing you need to worry about if you are setting it up in another position (other than ride hieght) is rotation... as the suspension cycles it rotates, (Triaged suspension calculator will give you the amount to turn it to match)
