So we were sitting in our Wednesday Morning Meeting and realized that this year is kind of an epic year for PCI Race Radios.

40 Years ago, Bob "Weatherman" Steinberger volunteered to help Stroppe pit at the 1972 Baja 1000. At the time, Bob owned a company called Phone Consultants International. (PCI) He came back from the race and told Bill he could install communications in his race car to talk to the pits, and alas, PCI Race Radios was born. Parnelli Jones and Bill Stroppe were the first to have PCI Communications in their race vehicles, installed by Weatherman himself.

We'll be doing some really cool prizes, giveaways and "thank you's" before the Baja 1000 this year. (probably available at Sand Sports Show and Off road Expo); Some commemerative Weatherman T-shirts, Hats and lots of free STEEEEKERS!

2015 will be 40 years since the "Weatherman Relay" began. Those who don't know that story or how he got his name, at the 1975 Mint 400, he put up an Antenna and 500 feet of coax with three weather balloons. A racer asking for status forgot Bob's name and called him the "weatherman." It stuck! We would like to make some cool "Weatherman" T-shirts. What are your favorite Weatherman Slogans? (T shirt friendly)

THANK YOU to all the racers, enthusiasts, spectators, chasers and friends who have made us who we are today. We're proud to be the FIRST and also be #1 in communications.

Viva PCI y Weatherman!

See you guys in San Felipe!
