Yes, We are still trying to get all the bugs out of it. We just reposted it so the MDR tech could look at it. We are considering running it Sept 28 @ lucerne.

Are you taking it back to the river over labor day weekend? We saw you there over
the 4th of July weekend..It was the first time you had it out..I talked to John at Playtech
on Saturday he said you made it street legal? How did you do that....

Yes, It is now street legal license TRUGGY. It wasn't that difficult, brake lights, parking brake, horn, wind shield, seat belts, cert of origin, reciept for all major componets, AZ adress and insurnce. Some one told me fenders would be required but they didn't require any.

Yes we will be at Havasu the next two week ends try to get ready for MDR Sept. 28

Are you at Havasu Springs? When you say help do you chase or pit? it has been 17 years since last race and we are just getting set up to see if we hang with the big boys!

What class do you think will cause the most conflict? 1300

I doubt they give you any hassle in class 1300 this year. There has been talk of splitting 1300 into sportsman and pro next year. I guess some people don't like racing against the 4 seaters with V6's and V8's.

If it is street legal, he can also race 1400 or 1450. That would get some questions.

Is that because of the difference in horse power?

Ok this is a street legal buggy with lots of travel / HP with a guy that hasn't raced for 17 yrs. I thought the best class would be the prerunner class to be conservative and try not killing my self trying to keep up with the unlimited. Opinions weclome! go easy guys.

Horsepower, a-arms, running two people in a four seat car, etc...When we started in the class two years ago, it was all outdated beam cars and bajas. Now we've got two mini mags with a-arms and I think street bike engines, and two big four seat a-arm cars with big engines all racing against the older beam cars. In my opinion, its a sportsman class and you should be able to run whatever you want. But I guess others out there think it should be an outdated prerunner class.

My freinds have a trailer on the same row that you do they are the one on
the far end by the bathrooms. We talked to you over the 4th when you were there.
We live in Corona so if you need any help let me know. We can chase or pit whatever
it takes to get it done..

The 1450 class was set up for people to go out and have fun. so it would seem to me that would be the class to go with, if you just want to take it out and see how it goes. It's has always been a fun class, at least for my wife.
