Still a TT, but my newest method to go bankrupt is now mine with a new makeover.

This was Jimco's first TT known as J1 and was owned by Robbie Pierce, which if I might add is one of the most genuine and kindest men that I've had the pleasure of becoming friends with.

Going to put some miles on it as is, maybe race it once since it's fresh, then convert to 6100. View attachment 20210903_202503.jpgView attachment 20210903_131509.jpg

Apparently It doesn't work well to attach pics from your phone.

I remember seeing the first Jimco TT at Primm during contingency when they had it on display, it was still a WIP, looks just as good as it did back then

Blown engine coming out and Backup engine going in.

We are registered for Laughlin and testing this weekend. Truck hopefully on the dyno tomorrow. Nothing like last minute engine swap a week before a race. Haha

To be fair I don't think it was a Turnkey issue. Pretty sure the engine blew up because we hurt the ECM.

The scary thing is the engine we are putting back in is our backup engine that had a blown head gasket and repaired. I wish we could just buy a new one but we can't. Whipple buys us one new engine a year and we don't have the budget to buy a 3rd this season. We have to work with what we have. Turnkey has been great to take care of us for all the past issues we have had with this LT1. Our backup engine blew the head gasket at Parker on the second lap and it was brand new. Turnkey fixed it for us.
