Alright, I'm sorry for the ragging. I am stoked to see 6200 grow more and more! (But let's not forget that the OG Class 1 Spec, is Class 10 )

I agree that 6100 and 6200 are the future and the sooner that they get a common name like "Trophy Truck" the better.

Class 10 should have been named Spec Buggy.

At Parker the first place 6200 was only four minutes slower than the first place class 1 car and was in the top 10 overall. Obviously these cars can hold their own vs class 1. Just add them to class 1 and keep the class 1 car counts higher.

OOOPS! My bad. Just saw the class 10 winner ran a 6:01 for three laps. If official, a class 10 car is the overall winner in the buggy class. Of course, results are still unofficial.

Then let's combine 6100 and 6200. They should run closer times than one and 6200.

yall are still missing the point, 6200 is an option for THE FUTURE, its costs a just under 10% more then a class 10 and about 40% less then a 6100. we don't need a 30k-60k motor in our car to compete. adding us to class 1 will give us immediate satisfaction sure, but it's not going to build the class for the future. Guys are coming, they need time to build. 6100 took a few years to get to what it is today.
A 6200 car is extremely capable of beat 6100's, we had a 3 min lead over all of them by pit 3 lap 1 (unfortunately we toasted our idler pully and spit our belt which lost us about 25 min so we didn't get the result we wanted but we KNOW we have the speed! qualified 6th and made 4 race passes in first 100 miles with 1 min and 30 sec split times. These cars are BADASS. Talk to Conner Mcmullen who has had the pleasure of driving pretty much every fast class.

well actually there are many options.

LS3 525, LT1, and the Ford carb engine. The Carb ford engine makes some good power and crazy rpm. The LT1 has more TQ than LS. But maybe with a buggy you dont need or want TQ.

Yes, you can have any ECU. The 525 is the best option for simplicity and reliability.
