A New Class of Vehicle For the Dakar...

I say if they will remove the restrictor/plenum in exchange for running the ethanol and can grab 200-300 hp in the process, adding 80 gallons at 7 lbs per gallon, the additional 560 pounds would be worth it IMO. I am sick of the twin turbo charged diesels having an advantage over our antiquated yet superior V8. If not, then screw it.

As far as it having it's own class, I think it will be as meaningless as RG winning the Buggy class for the Dakar.......The 4 wheeled Overall and two wheeled overall is all that really matters for the bikes and cars, or so we are led to believe by our friends in the media.
