Or did the Herbst Truggy start out as Four Wheel Drive?

After doing a little research I'm afraid the answer is yes (I'm high), but thought I'd put it out here just in case.

Ahhhh.....I thought that one of their rigs was 4x4 but was convinced it was the truggy.

If you were in San Felipe for the 4wd TT's first race, you would have been correct as they ran it sans body in class 1.

Thanks again everyone for giving me the straight scoop.

Been a fan of this since the 98 Tonopah 250. These guys put up 10K cash as a finishing bonus split between 1st Moto and 1st 4 wheel. I mean they had 10K cash on a table that they scooped up and handed out. Super cool.
