I have a 72 chevy swb 4x4.
Im looking to set it up for the dunes.
Im going to need all new hangers and springs.
Would i benifit from using a different leaf from a different application or something completely custom?
Im looking to make something work alot better than some regular old leaf springs
What do you think about a shackle flip in the rear?
Any info would be great

On Toyotas, the thing to do in the rear is get 62 or 70" long springs from National or Deaver.

On the front, you could get longer springs to the rear like 4-5" and make shackles and mounts.

Get some nice 2.5" or 3" resivoired shocks(bypass if you got the dough) and it should be nice.

Get locking diff for the front and rear for traction. Make sure its geared right.

Headers, cam, exhaust, intake will be nice as well.

I would call Deaver and see what your options are.
