Ok a bit more info.

There will be racing both Friday and Saturday. Friday will just be us, no asphalt guys, with heats and mains. Saturday, we'll be racing with the asphalt guys. Practice for the offroad cars will be at 11 am. After we are done with practice, they will need to clean the track for the asphalt guys to practice and race. The heats and mains for the offroad cars wont start till they are done...around 10 pm.

Entry - $100 with 50% payback. The entry will include 1 pit pass. Additional pit pass are available at $35 for adults and $20 for under 12. The pit pass is good for both days. Grandstand passes are $10 for adults, $3 for kids. Where I am unsure, and still haven't got word yet is where we are allowed to pit. If its in the pit lanes, then you will need a pit pass, but if they allow us to pit in the parking lot, then you wont need a pits pass. Until I hear other wise, plan on the worse case...having pit pass for all your crew.

I know this is not the ideal with the timing and pit pass costs, but this is the first event, and if there is enough interest there will be other events.

Hey Mike,

Why don't you bring out your ranger and run with the 1450 boys?

Or are you hiding something else in your garage to debut at this race?

AZ. Winter Series sounds better than great.

So we have 3-4 tracks to race on now.

Speedworld in Surprise, Firebird in Chandler, Tucson raceway, and Yuma is begging for a race.

Calling all promoters to the plate, can we make this happen?:D

Thank you to everyone who came out! It was great to see all the people in the stands cheering us on! I had a blast, hope everyone else did! Can’t wait for the next one at the end of July! Congratulations Ron at Safari!

yeah guys theres a track here in yuma, i think a winter series in Az would be awsome, yuma is a big offroad community we got people from mexicali, imperial, lots of spectators. and right next to the track there is a big casino which i wouldn't doubt it they could sponsor it they have a hotel and everything set. lets make it happen.

YES ZER!!! its has been a while it hasnt been put to use, but it has stands, parking and dirt which is what you need to race and if you get the casino to sponser the event like parker has bluewater casino. it can be done...they hold sand drags there why not have some short course racing right.

Yes! I have been thinking about this for a while, Im originally from Yuma and went to a few races there when i was younger. Its really a plug and play type venue too, only drawback is that its small like the Perris course, but seems like Perris is doing great, have any contacts for the facility?
