definitely ipod...no reason for cd's anymore...they just skip and get all messed up when your bouncing around anyway.

Ipod or satellite radio. Although I do use a Pioneer "CD player" as a switcher between the sources. It also has a remote which is nice for changing volume etc. while in the pits. It's rare that I will play a CD though...

What if you only want Satellite and IPod; NO cd NO radio. How do you do that?

I have a simple amplifier hooked directly to speakers in my truck, with an input cable that runs through a volume knob from Racer X. You can plug and ipod, xm radio, etc into the input. Pretty simple setup, works fine for prerunning. There is no tone control but the ipod lets you control the tone with the built in EQ.
