Backspacing ?

Does anybody know the wheel back spacing on a stock ranger 4wd 91? What is a good backspacing or what does anybody recommend? The reason I ask is because I have the stock 4x4 modular 15's on my 2wd ranger and when I bottom the tire (31x10.5) hits the bucket. Was wondering if I should change to a different backspacing.

Thanks,
Kris

When in doubt, GAS IT!

The wheels that came on my old 4x4 ranger had a deep backspacing. It was 4.5" I think, most aftermarket wheels are about 3.5-3.75 and would definitely help. also, if they are wider, then the tire doesn't bulge as much, that also will help prevent rubbing.
